In Focus: Local Government Leadership Program
Applications are now open for the 2014 offering of the Excellence in Local Government Leadership Program; a five-day intensive course for senior local government leaders. The program is a joint initiative between the Australian Centre of Excellence for Local Government (ACELG) and the Australia New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG), and will be held from the 21st to the 25th of July 2014 in Canberra. ACELG today released a report on food safety practices for Australian local governments. The project undertook research that explored current attitudes and beliefs concerning food safety within a diverse set of food business contexts, and includes a research report and a food safety strategy template for utilisation by councils. read more »
