In October and November ACELG hosted two international local government experts for our 'Government to Governance' public seminars series. Dr Andy Asquith (NZ) outlined ideas about changing leadership roles of local government mayors and chief executives, and Professor Robin Hambleton (UK) discussed place-based leadership with examples from Europe and Australia.
