Local Government Reviews Snapshot
ACELG has published a snapshot of current local government review and reform processes in Australia and in New Zealand between February and March 2013.
The research report, Review of Current Local Government Reform Processes in Australia and New Zealand, is co-published with the Local government Association of South Australia and the project was initiated by the South Australian Local Government Expert Review Panel.
The research builds upon earlier ACELG paper Unfinished Business? A Decade of Inquiries into Australian Local Government that examined the findings, recommendations and outcomes of nine major national and state inquiries into local government.
